Platform Requirements - Viewer

This document outlines detailed information on minimum hardware and network requirements for a seamless and immersive experience across both mobile and desktop platforms. Understanding these requirements is essential for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Optimal Experience

Meeting the minimum requirements will allow you to access the Metaverse Experience Room, but for an optimal experience, consider the following:

  1. Use a wired internet connection whenever possible.

  2. Close background applications that may use significant bandwidth.

  3. Keep your device's operating system and graphics drivers up to date.

  4. Use a high-quality headset or headphones to enjoy the full audio experience.

Minimum Hardware Requirements

Mobile Platforms

For an optimal Metaverse experience on a mobile platform, the following minimum hardware requirements are recommended:

  1. Operating System: iOS 14.0 or Android 10.0 and above

  2. Processor: Quad-core processor or higher

  3. RAM: 3 GB or more

  4. Storage: 32 GB of available storage

Desktop Platforms

For a seamless experience on a desktop platform, the following minimum hardware requirements are recommended:

  1. Operating System: Windows 10 or macOS 10.14 and above

  2. Processor: Dual-core CPU, 2.5 GHz or higher

  3. RAM: 8 GB or more

  4. Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560 or equivalent

Minimum Network Requirements

To ensure a smooth and reliable connection to the Metaverse Experience Room, please meet the following network requirements:

  1. Network Type: 4G LTE or 5G connection, Broadband connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi)

  2. Speed: Minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps

  3. Latency: Less than 50 ms

  4. Network Stability

  • Graphics: Adreno 500 series or equivalent, OpenGL ES 3.0 support

  • Sensors: Accelerometer and Gyroscope

  • Display: 1080 x 1920 resolution or higher

  • Audio: Stereo speakers or headphones

  • Storage: 256 GB SSD or HDD

  • Display: Full HD (1920 x 1080) or higher resolution

  • Audio: Sound card with support for stereo sound

  • : A stable connection with minimal packet loss

    Capture Network and Console Logs from Chrome Browser

    This article will go over how to capture network logging from Google Chrome using the Developer Tools. This process is best suited for users who have ongoing issues with GMetri in Google Chrome and who want to obtain their network logs for future reference and troubleshooting with GMetri's Support team. Prerequisites

    iPhone, iPad

    Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser to expand the Settings menu. From the Settings drop-down menu, select More Tools and then Developer Tools from the pop-out menu that appears

    Capturing Network Logs

    • In the developer tools window, select the Network tab. The logs you will want to collect are the Network and Console. The red circle icon to the far left indicates that you are recording network data

    • Refresh the page after opening the developer tools window and let the page load. Press the red circle, or Ctrl + E, to pause recording the network data. The circle will turn grey, indicating that it has stopped recording

    • Save the network trace: Right-click in the empty space in the Name section, where the Name, Status, Type, Initiator, Size, Time, and Waterfall sections appear. From the menu that appears, select Save all as HAR with content. Once selected, the Save As window will appear. Pick a name and location on your machine, and then select Save.

    Save the Console log

    Select the Console tab and right-click in the empty space on any of the entries. From the menu that appears, select Save As. Once selected, the Save As window will appear. Pick a name and location on your machine, and then select Save

    The published deployments run on all devices (Viewer Support).

    The editor used to create published deployments has been designed to work on large screens, i.e. laptops/desktops, and not mobile phones (Editor Support).
